ParentShift Terms (EN)
1. Acceptance
By using ParentShift, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Service scope
ParentShift is a co-parenting coordination app. It helps two adult household members share active duty, log support and recovery sessions, and see a weighted weekly balance. It is not a medical, legal, or emergency service and does not provide psychological advice.
3. Household and invite
- A household has up to two adult members, connected via a 6-character invite code or QR scan.
- All members see the same sessions, insights, and children profiles within that household.
- Invite codes should be treated as private; anyone with the code can join the household.
- You may leave a household at any time; doing so removes your membership row on the backend.
4. Subscriptions and free trial
- ParentShift offers an auto-renewable monthly subscription ("ParentShift Premium") at $1.99 USD/month (local equivalent elsewhere).
- New subscribers are eligible for a 7-day free trial. After the trial, the subscription automatically converts to a paid period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase the subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, and at the start of each renewal period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account Settings after purchase.
- Free tier limits (as of build 1): one child profile, last 7 days of session history, weekly balance only. Premium unlocks unlimited children, 180-day history, the 4-week report, pattern detection, rebalance suggestions, CSV export, and the weekly summary notification.
- Free and premium functionality may differ by build and market and may evolve over time.
5. User responsibilities
- Use the app lawfully and respectfully toward your co-parent.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the app.
- Do not use the app to harass, surveil without consent, or violate the rights of others.
- "Children" entries are for organising tasks; do not store sensitive information about minors.
6. Intellectual property
App branding, code, and content are owned by the provider unless otherwise stated.
7. Disclaimer and limitation
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the provider is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued app use after updates means acceptance of the updated Terms.
